The two laboratories of Prof. Claudia Bagni came together in Grottaferrata for a retreat. On Friday, January 19, we held a symposium to discuss our different projects. We were very fortunate to have Prof. Giovanni Neri join us and share both the history of Fragile X Syndrome and his future perspectives for treatments. Additionally, Kristin Mulcock, the President of the Swiss Fragile X Association and Alessia Brunetti, the President of the Italian Fragile X Association, attended and gave us moving presentations about their associations and the perspectives from the family point of view.
Outside of the symposium, we had the opportunity to explore the nearby areas of Grottaferrata and Rome, including a tour of the Villa Borghese.
