Sophie CROIZIER

Sophie Croizier obtained her PhD in 2011 from the University of Franche-Comte, France where she studied the fetal development of hypothalamic circuits controlling motivated behaviors. She then joined the University of Southern California to investigate the postnatal development of hypothalamic circuits and their functions. In 2017, she started an SNSF Ambizione fellow at the CIG of UNIL to identify new factors involved in the development of hypothalamic neuronal circuits including molecules controlling the synapse formation. She joined the DNF in summer 2024 as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor.
