Lucas Jantzen
PhD student

Lucas Jantzen is currently starting the third year of his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Marie and Louis Pasteur (France), within the LINC laboratory (INSERM UMR 1322). His research focuses on neuro-glio-vascular interactions and neuroinflammatory processes associated with obesity and metabolic disorders. He combines behavioral, molecular, and histological approaches to explore how metabolic challenges reshape brain function.
During his 3-month stay at the DNF in Lausanne, he is investigating hypothalamic circuits involved in energy balance while training in advanced techniques such as optogenetics and fiber photometry.
