Colin Scheurer
PhD student

Colin completed his BSc in Biology at Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and continued in the same university with a MSc in Molecular Health Science. For his Master’s thesis, he characterised the proteomic and genomic nucleolar content of prostate cancer cell lines in the lab of Prof. Raffaella Santoro at the university of Zurich. To follow his interest in studying fundamental mechanisms, he has now joined the Nikoletopoulou lab as a PhD student, where he will study mechanisms of unconventional secretion in the mammalian brain.
