Agathe obtained her BSc and MSc in biomedical sciences in the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. During her MSc in the laboratory of Prof. Bernard Hanseeuw, she characterized Tau proteins in the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with Alzheimer’s disease using immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry. She joined the Neukomm lab to do a four-month internship, where she aims to identify proteins necessary for injury-induced axon degeneration in Drosophila.
