Neha obtained her BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the Middlesex University (London, UK), where she focused on neurodegenerative disorders. During her MSc in Neuroscience at the University of Helsinki (Finland), she was supervised by a variety of research groups and explored prospective therapeutic treatments for neuronal degradation; especially the therapeutic potential of neurotrophic factors. Neha joined the Neukomm lab as a PhD student, and she aims to gain insights into mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration mediated by NAD+ depletion in Drosophila.
