The FBM award is yearly attributed by the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne.
Laura received the award for her work on the neurophysiological mechanisms of sleep in rodent, honoring her contributions to the lab’s publications (see in particular: https://elifesciences.org/articles/39111 and https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/3/2/e1602026 ).
The award ceremony took place on the 20th of June 2019, at the University of Lausanne.
This year, the FBM awarded for the first time 4 persons from the Department of Fundamental Neurosciences: Dr. Laura MJ Fernandez, Dr. Julien Puyal, Prof. Jean-Pierre Hornung and Prof. Andrea Volterra.
