Anita Lüthi
Associate professor
After she obtained her PhD at the University of Zürich, Anita carried out postdoctoral research at Yale University on how neural circuits spontaneously generate rhythmic activity. Back in Lausanne as Associate Professor, she thinks that the neural patterns generated by the sleeping brain will become ever more important in diagnosing brain disease. More recently, she is interested in how sleep functions result from coordinated interactions between the central and the autonomic nervous systems.
