Sanjana Vasanth
PhD student

Sanjana obtained her BS and MS in Biology from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune. During her Master’s Thesis at the Lemaitre lab in EPFL, she worked on the Drosophila innate immune program, characterizing the function of a novel serine protease homolog in the Toll cascade. Sanjana joined the Neukomm lab as a PhD student and aims to gain insights into mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration induced by low NAD+ in Drosophila.
