Stacey Elshove
Trainee

Stacey earned her MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, where she specialized in Orthopaedics and Neuroscience. During her graduate studies, she conducted research on Brain-on-a-Chip technology under the supervision of Prof. Regina Luttge. Additionally, she completed an internship in the laboratory of Prof. Grégoire Courtine, where she worked on the whole-brain response to identify recovery-organising regions in mice with cervical spinal cord injuries, contributing to the development of neuron-specific neuromodulation therapies. Currently, Stacey is a research intern in the Kathe lab, where she is actively involved in various aspects of the lab's work, with a particular emphasis on engineering applications.
