Mauro Congiu
PhD student

Mauro Congiu obtained a B.Sc. in Biology and a M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of Cagliari, Italy. He then joined the lab of Marco Pistis as a PhD student and investigated the therapeutic role of n-acylethanolamines on addiction and pain focusing on midbrain function, and mostly employing electrphysiological approaches. In the Mameli lab he will study the role of lateral habenula neuron dynamics on adaptive behaviors.
