Alessia Memeo
Master student

Alessia is graduated from the University of Bari (Italy) with a Bachelor's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies. She is currently a Master student
in Medical Biotechnologies and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bari with a strong interest in physiology and neurophysiology. She has now joined the group of Paola Bezzi
for her internship and she will work on the role of astrocytes in the pathophysiology of syndromic intellectual disabilities link to the ER-Mitochondria interaction(s).
