Francesco Petrelli
Post-doctoral fellow

Francesco did his Master’s project and PhD in Italy at the University of Calabria, studying the role of inflammatory cells in different animal models of brain ischemia. He joined Bezzi’s lab in 2011 for the last part of his PhD and continued as a Post-Doc investigating the regulation of brain dopamine homeostasis by astrocytes.
