Hello, I am Guadagno Angelo, I’m 24 years old and I’m from Naples, Italy.
After my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University Parthenope of Naples, I moved to the University of Trieste to study Neuroscience.
Now I’m part of Anita Lüthi group as a traineeship student. My study will be focused on Thalamic Reticular nucleus (TRN). In particular I will perform cellular, histological and in vitro-in vivo electrophysiological studies to understand the role of GABAergic PV-SOM neurons for TRN pacemaking and to understand what are the differences between TRN sectors.
