Gaia graduated with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a research focus on neurodegenerative diseases. As part of her doctoral program, she joined the Bezzi’s group at the University of Lausanne for a six-month visiting period. During her stay, she will work on characterizing astrocyte morphogenesis in murine models of autism and schizophrenia.
