Pablo Mavrocordatos
PhD student

Pablo began his academic training in Biology at the University of Lausanne. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Zurich (ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich) with the support of a Swiss Mobility program, he pursued a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Geneva. For his Master thesis, he worked in the laboratory of Prof. Camilla Bellone, where he contributed to the development of an operant chamber designed to assess social motivation in psychiatric mouse models. He is now pursuing a PhD thesis in the laboratory of Prof. Anita Lüthi, where he plans to study neurodegenerative mechanisms and their functional implications for sleep and the noradrenergic system in novel mouse models for the prodromal phase of Alzheimer’s disease.
